We’re proud to share that Built Right Roofing & Construction has earned Emerald Premium Contractor status with Malarkey Roofing Products®. This is a distinction Malarkey gives to contractors who have a proven track record, complete ongoing training, and consistently install their roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications.
In simple terms, it means Malarkey trusts our work.
Because of that trust, we’re able to offer our customers the Malarkey Certified Premium Warranty, which is only available when a roof is installed by a contractor with this level of certification.
What Makes the Certified Premium Warranty Different
Most roofing warranties focus almost entirely on the shingles themselves. The Certified Premium Warranty goes a step further by combining material coverage with workmanship coverage, as long as the roof is installed as a complete Malarkey roofing system by an Emerald Premium Contractor.
The workmanship coverage is a big deal. Many roofing issues don’t come from bad shingles, but from installation details like flashing, sealing, or fastening. Under the Certified Premium Warranty, workmanship-related issues that affect how the roof performs can be covered during the specified workmanship period. The installing contractor covers the initial portion of that period, and Malarkey provides additional backing after that, which gives homeowners extra peace of mind knowing there’s manufacturer support behind the installation.
The warranty also includes extended non-prorated material coverage, known as Malarkey’s Right Start™ period. During this time, the shingles don’t lose value. If there’s a covered manufacturing defect, Malarkey may cover the reasonable cost to repair or replace the affected materials, and in many cases that can include labor and tear-off. This is different from basic warranties, which often reduce coverage the longer the roof has been on the home.
Backed by the Manufacturer, Not Just the Contractor
Another important thing to understand is that the Certified Premium Warranty is backed directly by Malarkey Roofing Products®, not just by us as the installer. In many cases, the warranty can also be transferred if you sell your home, which can be a nice added benefit down the road.
